An entry will be valid only if the entrant is an eligible registered conference attendee and the required entry information has been completed and submitted successfully.
Duplicate entries will be disregarded.
No additional purchase or payment is required to enter the competition.

4.    Competition Period
The competition opens at 06:00 SAST on Monday, 14 September 2026 and closes at 23:59 SAST on Friday, 18 September 2026.
Entries received after the closing time will not be considered.

5.    Selection of the Winner
One winner and two reserve entrants, ranked as first and second reserve, will be selected at random from all valid, eligible entries received during the Competition Period using an electronic random-selection system.
Each valid entrant will have an equal chance of being selected as the winner.
The draw will take place on Monday, 21 September 2026 (“the Draw Date”).
The selection process will be overseen and certified by an independent accountant, registered auditor, attorney or advocate in accordance with Regulation 11(5) of the Consumer Protection Act Regulations.
The Promoter's determination regarding the validity of entries will be final, subject to applicable law.
The winner will be determined exclusively in accordance with the random selection procedure set out above.

6.    Winner Notification
The winner will be contacted using the contact details supplied when entering the competition.
The result of the competition will be communicated to entrants by email within four calendar days from the Draw Date.
The winner's identity will be disclosed in that communication only if the winner has consented to such disclosure.
If consent has not been provided, entrants will be informed that a winner has been selected without identifying that person.
The service voucher will be issued electronically to the winner at the email address provided on the entry form within three business days after the winner is determined. Proof of electronic transmission will be retained by Tecleo.
Tecleo will make at least three reasonable attempts, using the contact details supplied by the entrant, to notify the winner over a period of five business days.
If the person selected as winner is subsequently found not to have been eligible to enter the competition, or expressly declines the prize before it is issued, Tecleo may, subject to applicable law and the independent oversight of the competition, award the prize to the first reserve entrant and thereafter to the second reserve entrant if necessary.
The voucher must be redeemed within twelve calendar months from the date of issue by opening a qualifying matter with Tecleo and accepting Tecleo's written quotation.
Work commenced pursuant to a valid redemption may be completed after the voucher's expiry date.
The winner's name, photograph, company details or other identifying information will not be used for promotional purposes without the winner's consent.

7.    Prize
The winner will receive a Tecleo service voucher with a maximum value of R10,000 including VAT.
No payment or other consideration will be required from the winner to receive the voucher.

The voucher:
•    is valid for twelve calendar months from the date of issue;
•    may be redeemed against one qualifying digital forensic, forensic data recovery, data recovery or e-discovery support case undertaken by Tecleo;
•    may only be redeemed directly with Tecleo;
•    may not be exchanged for cash;
•    may not be transferred or sold; and
•    may not be divided between multiple cases.

If the value of the services supplied is less than R10,000, the unused portion of the voucher will be forfeited, and no cash refund, credit or residual voucher will be issued.
If the value of the requested services exceeds R10,000, the winner may elect to proceed with the work and will be responsible for paying the amount in excess of the voucher value, subject to acceptance of Tecleo's quotation and standard terms and conditions.
The winner's entitlement to the voucher is unaffected by Tecleo's case acceptance requirements. However, any services performed under the voucher remain subject to Tecleo's ordinary service terms and may only be undertaken where Tecleo can lawfully and ethically accept the instruction, no conflict of interest exists, the instructing party has the necessary lawful authority in relation to the device, data or matter concerned, and the requested service falls within Tecleo's service capabilities.
If Tecleo cannot accept a particular matter for any of these reasons, the winner may redeem the voucher against another qualifying matter during the voucher's validity period.

8.    Personal Information
Personal information supplied by participants will be processed by Tecleo for the purposes of administering the competition, verifying eligibility, selecting and contacting the winner, communicating the competition result, and complying with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
Entry into the competition does not constitute consent to receive unrelated direct-marketing communications from Tecleo.
Personal information will be processed in accordance with applicable data-protection legislation and Tecleo's Privacy Policy.

By entering the competition, participants confirm that they have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
