I took the HDD to another data recovery company and the technician removed the HDD from its external casing as the interface was also dead. He then connected it externally and internally to try and boot up HDD to recover data. According to him, the HDD is "shot". He said that the control arm is not working correctly, therefore he cannot open files at all. HDD: Free Agent Go 500GB."
