When I plug my hard drive into a PC computer it says "USB device not recognized". The device manager indicates an unknown device and code 43. I have also tried plugging the HDD into a MAC but still does not mount. The fault happened when I removed the drive from an XP computer and plugged into a Windows 7 computer. The drive was not dropped, the lights turn on and disk spins and there are no strange sounds.
