I have a portable 2,5'' 500gb hard drive. I've had the HDD for about a year now with minimal knocks and no falls. Last night I attempted to connect the drive to my Laptop and it started to make these strange beeping noises with the HDD not running even though the LED is flickering. The HD is not showing up anywhere on my PC.?
